yes and I'm also thinking it lends itself either to the more mundane 'pair stuck in the airport' or 'the drones are actually a huge conspiracy because *insert as fits to the fandom*'

at the moment all I've done is give it a throwaway line in an entirely unrelated Tara/Lilah fic lol - but at some point I really have to write a huge conspiracy theory that centres around the drones for some fandom or other
